24th September 2018

British pop legend and BBC star. Vince Hill. said an official goodbye to his fans last weekend (Saturday September 22nd) with a Farewell concert in his hometown of Henley-on-Thames. ‘AN EVENING WITH VINCE HILL’ took place as Henley’s beautiful Kenton Theatre and celebrated Vince's remarkable 55 years as a solo recording artist.

This very special night was hosted by Mark Andrews,  and Vince shared stories from wonderful career as well as performing many of his all-time greatest hits including “Take Me To You Heart Again” (La Vie En Rose), “Roses Of Picardy”“The Importance Of Your Love”“Look Around”  and his million selling single “Edelweiss” (from the musical ‘The Sound Of Music’).

Vince also used this concert as an opportunity to raise money for both Leuka and another cause close to his heart, Sue Ryder - with donations totaling over £600 from the night now going towards leukaemia research.

A huge thank you to both Vince and his manager Stephen for their support.
