On 23rd November, Leuka supporter, BPI OnDemand hosted the third edition of their popular Michelin CX dinner event at Claude Bosi’s Bibendum, which raised over £4000 for Leuka. Here to tell us a little about the evening is BPI’s Head of Digital, Geraint….
Another year, another hugely successful event for both BPI & Leuka! The event brought together business leaders from across Sales, Marketing and Innovation to examine what gives restaurants like Bibendum that sought-after Michelin Star and how this skill set is transferable to our own organisations. With the dining industry leading the charge when it comes to providing excellent customer experiences, guests were able to gain great insight into their methodology.
Over 50 people attended and the event offered a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Leuka in the form of a charity auction. There were some excellent prizes on offer, including VIP backstage tickets to the Voice UK, afternoon tea at the Delaunay and a James Bond experience at the Hippodrome Casino.
Presented by the Chairman of Leuka, Chris Corbin, attendees were quick to participate for this vital cause, raising £3,500 through the auction alone. Throughout the evening guests also pledged additional donations, raising the total to over £4,000.
Leuka Chief Executive Olive Boles attended the event: “It was a wonderful evening and we are so grateful to BPI OnDemand and their guests for their generosity. Their kind donations will help us to fund scientists, clinicians and nurses who will help us translate leukaemia research into treatments as quickly as possible.”
On behalf of BPI OnDemand & Leuka, we would like to thank Chris Corbin, James Day of Urban Golf and Chris Ransom of the Lawn Tennis Association, and Simon Thomas of the Hippodrome for very kindly donating these prizes, and Claude Bosi and Bibendum for the wonderful food.
Lueka has been held closely to the hearts of BPI since co-founder Michael Evans was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2013. You can view Michael’s story here.
